I'm still here
I really am, though admittedly lately it's been mostly just to pop up on Saturday mornings and comment in musesfool's journal about Fringe. (I haven't watched last night's ep yet. Please don't spoil me!)
Things are better on the home front, so I figured it was time for an update.
That's a recent picture from the inside of my uterus.
I have to be honest. This was not the plan. The plan was kind of vague, but it did not include a baby right now. I freaked out, a lot -- and once I was done freaking out, I spent the next 2.5 months alternating between having my head in the toilet or laying in bed with debilitating migraines. So, you know, fun.
Now, though, I am feeling a ton better and hoping for that wave of creativity and energy that everyone promises in the second trimester. I've been cooking again, which is great, so hopefully writing will soon follow. :)
